Sponsors for the circumnavigation

Our expedition is largely self-financed, but partly subsidised by the companies and organizations listed below. If you'd like to make a personal contribution towards equipment costs, that would be very welcome, and you can do so by credit/debit card or PayPal Account by clicking on the Donate button on the left (administered by Alan Morton at DMAP).

Many thanks to our sponsors…..

Aberystwyth-based construction company Arycyd Ltd have donated the cost of strengthening the underside of our double kayak with a keel reinforcement strip.

The But 'n' Ben Restaurant at Auchmithie provided us with an excellent free lunch.

We are extremely grateful to our local Dartmoor Brewery for providing excellent real ale for our launch party.

Global Telesat Communications have supported us with advice and a discount on a Spot Satellite GPS Messenger Personal Tracker.

Golden Cap Holiday Park at Seatown allowed us to camp free of charge.

KEHOE'S PANTRY

Thanks to Keo's Pantry at Kilmore Quay in County Wexford for food and accommodation during the expedition.

A huge thank you to Kelly College in Devon for donating one of their older K2 marathon boats for training and use in the Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race.

Miltonhaven Seaside Caravan Park near Montrose allowed us to camp free of charge.

Local paddling equipment company Nookie have offered us a substantial discount on their quality paddling kit in support of the expedition.

Thanks to Plymouth Life Centre, an Everyone Active Sports Centre, for their support in providing an extension of Jane’s membership to take it right through to the start of the expedition.

Devon kayaking equipment company Reed Chillcheater have given us a substantial discount on their quality paddling clothing in support of the expedition.

SeaKayak.NL have supplied two AxelPack mapcases free of charge in support of the expedition.

Totally waterproof, highly breathable socks, hat and gloves.
SealSkinz have very generously sponsored us by kitting us out with waterproof clothing for our expedition – keeping our extremities warm on a long-duration exped is critical and it will be a huge reassurance to know that we have high quality, reliable clothing to wear on and off the water in camp.

Ultimate Kayaks have supported us with a discount on our Epic mid-wing paddles:
These are a lightweight and forgiving wing which is small yet powerful for long distance sea kayaking. They were recommended by a fellow sea paddler. When I borrowed these I knew immediately I wanted a pair and Andy didn’t take much arm twisting once he’d had a go too! We can strongly recommend these paddles.

Valley Sea Kayaks have supported us by supplying and delivering, free of charge, two new hatch covers for our Aleut sea kayak.

Weir Quay Boatyard has supported us by supplying flares for our expedition.
